WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

General Information

Proper care helps ensure maximum durability. And that, in turn, contributes to greater sustainability. Please follow our washing and care instructions:

  • Do not tumble dry. Instead, hang the garment up to dry.

  • Embroidered logos may become misshapen after washing. They will return to their normal shape as you wear the garment. We also recommend straightening the logo by hand or pressing it flat after washing.

  • Do not iron the fabric.

  • Wash at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees.

  • Turn the garment inside out before washing.

  • Use a mild detergent.

  • Select the gentle cycle.

  • Do not use fabric softener.

  • Do not dry clean.

CARE OF EMBROIDERED LOGOS

Embroidered logos are made of thread that absorbs water when washed. Just as a cotton T-shirt, for example, may look wrinkled and misshapen after washing, the same can happen with embroidered logos (see image below). This is not a quality defect. The logos can be restored to their original smooth condition by following these steps:

  • Take the jersey out of the washing machine and smooth it out firmly by hand

  • Hang the jersey straight on a clothesline

  • Press firmly with an iron set to the lowest temperature setting for no more than 3 seconds

  • If necessary, repeat the process after a 20-second pause

Regardless of these recommendations, the embroidered logo will also smooth out on its own as you wear it.

CARE OF FLOCK

Prevention

  • Always wash your jersey inside out

  • Max. 30 °C, preferably on the delicate cycle

  • No dryer

  • No fabric softener

  • Avoid washing with items that shed lint, such as towels, fleece, thick hoodies, and woolen items

  • Do not spin at too high a speed

  • Hang up immediately after washing; do not leave wet for long

If there are already lint balls in the fabric

  • Let it dry completely first

  • Then gently brush over it with a soft clothes brush or lint roller

  • Alternatively, gently wipe in one direction using a slightly damp microfiber cloth

  • Carefully remove any loose lint with tweezers

Things you should probably avoid doing

  • Do not rub vigorously

  • No lint shaver on the flock

  • Do not blow-dry or iron directly on the print

  • No harsh cleaners
